NetAlive is a simple utility which allows users to 'listen' on a port and talk to another PC on the same subnet which is running NetAlive. It works by using a basic TCP/IP implementation. The user's PC will act as the 'listening PC', this is called an 'Listener' and the connected PC is called the 'Listener/Talker'. When someone tries to connect to your port, NetAlive will 'listen' on that port for incoming connections. Any connections received are stored by NetAlive and a corresponding connection will be made with the connected PC. The connected PC can then send the data back to NetAlive which will be stored and send it back to the Listener/Talker.
